Belgium was a CHOCOLATE OVERDOSE!! It is TRUE... Belgium has the best waffles in the world (or at least the best ones I have ever had) I am no waffle connoisseur... but a Belgium waffle topped with Nutella and sliced bananas beats a  good ol'  Eggo out of the box!!!

This was divine... YES I had one every morning I was there!!!

Pit: A few weeks ago I joked about the cobble stone.. No joking anymore. I rolled my ankle! My klutzy side is coming out haha

This weekend I am off to Switzerland :)

Post # 9!

This weekend a group of about 15 of us went to Prague.... It was fantastic!

High: With such a huge group and so many moving parts (different night trains, stops, layovers, etc.) this weekend had the potential to be a little overwhelming but it was the exact opposite.  The group was AWESOME... travels went smoothly and overall everything was just so easy!

Low: Total hours of sleep this weekend (Thursday-Sunday).... 15! But SO worth it!

 Prague was a MAJOR success.... CZECH YES!!

Post # 8!

I am still trying to find a routine here which is why I haven't written in a while.  If I don't already get distracted enough let's add planning to travel the world to my list of to do's! But who looks back on college and says that they didn't get enough sleep... right??

Peak (of the last few weeks): Mommy and Daddy came to Heidelberg!! It was awesome to have the opportunity to show them around and have them get a taste of my new world!

Tomorrow at 6 AM I am leaving for a trip down the Romantic Road..... I'll visit many different cities but I am most excited about seeing the Passion Play that occurs once every 10 years in Oberammergau!

Today's......

Peak: I was elected to be on Student Government for the year :)
Pit: Packing.... Although I am SO excited for our field trip I am terrible at packing.
PriSCILLY moment: Everyone is bringing backpacks.... I am bringing a duffel bag. HA. ;)

I have been here for over a week now... Seems like I have been living here for months. I LOVE it!

Peak: Found the CUTEST new study spot in town... It has comfy couches and huge bean bags.  It is a euro version of Pannikin in Del Mar!

Pit: It rained for just about an entire day straight.  Like the California girl I am...I thought that everything (aka our outdoor field trip) gets canceled... I was informed otherwise. Thank you Hunter for making such cute rain boots.

Peak: Had SUCH an amazing Bible study with the girls in a castle... incredible! I'm amazed by how the Lord provides.

Every time I blog I will post 3 things.... The "peak" of the day (high... most exciting exciting thing that happen.. my favorite moment of the day). The "pit" of the day (low... something not so good that happen... hopefully I won't have a lot of these). And the "PriSCILLY" moment (My SILLY moment of the day). Oh and of course I will upload pictures too!

Peak: I experienced my first Bratwrust at a street fair in Ladenburg (20 min train ride from Heidelberg)...  DELICIOUS!

PriSCILLY moment: Walking down to town w/ the entire group and I trip....I laughed.  FYI...The streets in Germany aren't like the smooth streets I'm used to... they are cobble stone. The real deal... not the stuff in rancho that is imitation.  Moral of the silly moment... I'm a klutz.

Pit: No real bit so far... Just way jet lagged. They say it takes a day for ever hour...so around day 9 I should be as good as new!
